Executive Director

Jennifer Brillhart, MPA, CFRE, is the Executive Director of the York County Food Bank.  Jennifer oversees the distribution of more than 2 million pounds of food each year through a network of more than 125 local partner nonprofit organizations that feed the hungry.

Prior to joining the Food Bank, Jennifer served as Director of Development at SpiriTrust Lutheran, where she is responsible for the overall strategic planning and execution of the Foundation philanthropy program including annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, grants and special events.

Jennifer also served as Chief Development Officer at YWCA York, where she was responsible for fundraising, communications, marketing and external relations, and customer service. She also served as the business manager of The Rock School for Dance Education, a pre-professional dance training institution based in Philadelphia.  In this role, she oversaw all operations, set strategy, and led marketing efforts to find new revenue opportunities. She also managed a $2 million project based on sustainable design, development, and construction. Jennifer has also served in development roles at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, PA and Love Heals, the Alison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education in New York, NY.

Jennifer is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and holds a Master of Public Administration in Public and Nonprofit Management from New York University and received her Bachelor of Arts in Leadership Studies at University of Richmond.  She is a current member of the Rotary Club of York, Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Junior League of York, Leave a Legacy, York Young Professionals, Susquehanna Planned Giving Society, York County Estate Planning Council, Haven Home for Girls, and Healthy York County Coalition.
