As part of its ongoing support of local communities, Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) and Apple Subaru presented a check for $13,387 to The York County Food Bank as part of the 2017 Subaru SHARE THE LOVE event. Apple Subaru’s Car Sales Manager, Brian Noll, and General Manager, Mike King, for Subaru of America presented the generous contribution to the York County Food Bank as a partner in the quest for a Hunger Free York.
Customers who purchased or leased a new Subaru between November 14, 2017 and December 31, 2017, were invited to select from one of five charities to receive a $250 donation from SOA.
SOA selected four national charities: ASPCA®, Make-A-Wish®, Meals On Wheels America® and National Park Foundation. Subaru retailers could also elect to add a local charity to help support their community. Apple Subaru selected the York County Food Bank.
Over the last seven years, SOA has donated $50 million to a number of worthy causes through the Share the Love event. Subaru of America hopes to donate up to $15 million to participating charities this year.
Apple Subaru is a member of the Apple Automotive Family and York County’s only authorized Subaru sales and service dealership. For more information, visit http://www.applesubaru.com
