York County Food Bank Provides More than Baskets this Easter Holiday
Due to the gracious donations of churches in York County, we were able to collect a total of 224 hams for our Easter Meal box distribution! Thank you to all of these churches that supported our fight for a hunger free York!
The York County Food Bank is planning to distribute 200 meal boxes to those in need this Easter.
Thanks to a partnership with Leadership York plus local churches, companies and our amazing partner organizations, the York County Food Bank has been diligently working to collect food to be able to distribute to those in need this holiday season. Volunteers and supporters have collected all the fixings for an Easter Box, including a frozen ham and all of the trimmings, and looking for 200 families or individuals who would be in need of delicious holiday meal in a box! To register to receive a full meal box please call (717) 846-6435 ext. 209 between April 8th-April 12th. Calls will be accepted from 9:00am-12:00pm on these days and all will be registered on a first come, first serve basis and we only have 200 boxes!
All those registered to receive an Easter Meal Box must be able to pick up the box on April 17th from 11:00am-1:00pm at the York County Food Bank located at 254 W. Princess St. York.
