Combatting Hunger and Food Insecurity Since 1982
The York County Food Bank has been serving York County, Pennsylvania for almost 40 years. Our primary function is supplying quality food to over 125 non-profit organizations throughout York County that provide food directly to those in need. These "Partner Agencies" include food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, senior & community centers, and schools/childcare centers.
Additionally, YCFB serves individuals and families in need directly through several unique programs designed to fill gaps in services and combat hunger and food insecurity throughout the county.
Thanks to generous support from organizations, local businesses, individual donors, and government programs, YCFB was able to provide over 6 million lbs. of food to thousands of families in 2020. YCFB receives food through various government programs as well as donations from food manufacturers,
The York County Food Bank and our partner agencies rely heavily on monetary donations. Monetary donations allow YCFB to purchase nutritious food items that are needed most and not readily accessible through traditional means. Please consider donating today.
