Our Impact

Through our own programs and through our Food Security Network, we distributed 4.1 million pounds of food and provided 3.4 million healthy meals to our neighbors in need all over York County. Every month, more than 40,000 people counted on us, a level of demand that has held steady since last year.

We did this with the support of more than 500 volunteers gave 11,000 hours, saving nearly $400,000 in labor costs. We couldn’t have done it without those volunteers, our donors, and the hard work of our partners all over the county.

With nearly 60,000 people facing food insecurity in York County, this is no small accomplishment. But, there is still a lot more work to do in order to create a Hunger Free York.
