Zach Wolgemuth

Zach Wolgemuth is the Director of Programs at the York County Food Bank where he oversees the implementation and development of YCFB programs. Prior to joining YCFB, Zach spent nearly 15yrs leading domestic and international disaster recovery efforts. During his tenure, Zach guided, supervised and trained national networks of volunteers; developed and implemented innovative programs to respond to community recovery needs; and expanded disaster recovery efforts, capacities and capabilities. Through the global coordination, management, and distribution of over $25 million in services and funding, Zach was able to assist families with emergency services, rebuild thousands of homes, and aid in the recovery of hundreds of communities. Additionally, Zach has served on multiple governmental and non-governmental working groups and most notably as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD). Outside of his foodbank role, Zach provides ongoing support to the disaster sector in various capacities.
